​Hunter Surf Lifesaving hosted the Newcastle Permanent Series. The results across the series are tallied, and Merewether Juniors ended up with two of our U11 boys successfully achieving a place this season!

Boston Byrne came first in the U11 Boys Beach Championship and Liam Sidwell came third in the U11 Boys Water Championship.

Central Coast Surf Lifesaving hosted the Newcastle Permanent Ironperson Series with Liam Sidwell coming a fantastic second in the U11 Boys Ironman Champion.

The club has come a long way in such a few years thanks to the guidance of Bill Sidwell, Brent and the competition parents.

Only the top eight are recorded in each age group and our Competition Kids are highlighted below. However, that only shows part of the story. At Branch and State the Nippers were put through heats, quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals. Our comp kids deserve a big CONGRATULATIONS from Merewether Nippers and SLSC members!! WOW WHAT A RESULT!
